Recorded Word signing through VNeID
In the recording Agent awaits authorization on CMC-CA RS; the phone reports sharing success before Word signature-save feedback. This recording does not establish coverage for every Excel or PowerPoint version.
Prepare
- Check the Office, Agent and Windows/macOS versions with your deployment team.
- Finalize and save the document; identify the signer and representation authority.
- Sign in to Agent and inspect the intended certificate.
Signing journey
Word/Excel
In desktop Word/Excel, use Insert → Add a Signature Line in the Text group; supply signer information and choose OK. Right-click the line → Sign and inspect the certificate.
PowerPoint
For an invisible signature, use File → Info → Protect Document/Workbook/Presentation → Add a Digital Signature. This is Office navigation; Agent certificate availability depends on deployment configuration.
Authorize
Review the request in Agent and on the signing route. Follow VNeID confirmation instructions or the configured Trusted SIC authorization process.
Inspect
After signing, use File → Info → View Signatures → Signature Details. Check status and subject; assess a partial signature within its signed scope.
After signing
Do not edit the document and treat the existing signature as approval of new content; repeat approval when the content changes.
