FIDO2 applicability
FIDO2 certification applies to the named server/authenticator modules. In Sign, FIDO2/Passkey can support authentication and user verification/authorization; the digital signature remains a separate signing-infrastructure operation.

FIDO2 in Sign
FIDO2 Server or Authenticator certification applies only to the certified subject/module. In a Sign journey, FIDO2/Passkey can support login, user verification or transaction authorization depending on architecture; the private key/certificate used to create the digital signature remains part of the applicable signing infrastructure. The Trust Center therefore states both what each certification proves and what it does not prove.
